Masculine Mondays

Men’s fragrances are not marketed as much as women’s fragrances, and this is typically because men wear fragrances less often than women do. Men on average care much less about outer appearance and aesthetics than women but that’s all changing and because of that men have more options when choosing grooming and body care fragrances. While most men fragrances have always leaned more in the direction of being woody or spicy in their approach, men scents are now more diverse and versatile experimenting with base scents like Sandalwood and Vanilla. These scents combined with other options offer more unisex scent blends that are very pleasing to the senses of men and women. 

Masculine Summer Scents 

One thing about more traditional masculine scents such as musk and the more earthy scents is that they don’t always pair well with hot, humid heat. There are now more subtle or citrusy options for men that blend well with a little sweat and summer humidity making them excellent choices for masculine summer scents.  After all, you should switch up your signature scent with every seasonal change like you swap out your wardrobe.

One of my favorite masculine summer scents for men is by Bath & Body Works and is called Aloe & Palm and it is versatile and unisex. The scent notes are fresh palm leaves, clean eucalyptus and vetiver woods. The eucalyptus is very light and hardly noticeable for an amazing, crisp, clean scent light but strong and confident.
