Home Fragrance: Scented Candles Vs Room Sprays

Home sweet home as they always say but what makes a home so sweet isn’t what always makes a home smell special so many of us rely on home fragrance and today, we rate candles vs room sprays. I just recently began using room sprays as candles were my go to option until I realized the inconvenience of them. I mean, don’t get me wrong, candles offer some of the best long lasting scent and ambiance but what if you need a burst of fresh, sweet-smelling air now and you need it to be safe and fire free? So let’s read along and help you choose which form of home fragrance you think you’d prefer.

Candles

Scented Candles are not only able to cover up and hide unpleasant scents, but they add visual appeal and are decorative. Candles are amazing for chillier months as they add additional heat sources to any room and the flickering light of a candle is sometimes just the touch that a cozy room needs to make it home sweet home and to create warm and comforting memories that will endure long after the candles are no longer burning.
Plus, the right scented candle has amazing, long lasting, and intense fragrance that can fill the entire room or house for hours on end as long as it is lit and will linger a bit after. Candles also come in plenty of varieties and brands, but we tend to carry Bath and Body Works, Yankee Candle, and Goose Creek at this moment.

Room Sprays

Candles offer so much room appeal in that they add ambiance to any room you light them in, but while ambiance is good fire isn’t always the safest option if you have pets or small children near them so some may opt for room sprays or aerosol air fresheners. Room Sprays offer immediate home fragrance that is flame and fire free however it may diffuse pretty quickly. Rooms Sprays offer amazing strength of scent and is ideal for “room” treatment such as bathrooms and humid damp basement or attic spaces that need covering up rather quickly.
Room sprays are great for white walls as candles produce soot at times and can stain them and force you to have to wash them off. Room sprays and air fresheners are very easy to use, simply requiring you to pop of the top if it has one and spray making them more convenient than candles are they are usually easier to store as well.

Bath & Body Works Vs. Goose Creek Room Spray

The difference between the Bath & Body Works and Goose Creek Room Spray is the mechanical component in such that Bath & Body Works aerosol containers have controlled bursts that require a quick press, and that Goose Creek Room Sprays are not controlled and will spray as long as you compress the button on them. Both offer amazing scent options though Goose Creek did discontinue most of their Room Sprays but did bring back a few options. My eBay store has a few of them left and as of today they are currently on sale.
When it comes to fragrance, I would choose Bath & Body Works for sure, but Goose Creek does gourmands better and they had a large selection to choose from. Now, not so much. If I had to rate them on a scale of 1 to 5, I’d give Bath & Body Works 5 stars and Goose Creek would get 3 stars from me. I absolutely love the concentration of the Bath & Body Works room sprays as Goose Creek sprays are a bit less concentrated but that might be a good thing for those who don’t prefer the concentrated sprays.
