Shay’s Return/Refund Policy

Overview

Here at Shay Sends Smiles, we pride ourselves on being very professional but also empathetic to our customers when certain situations arise however we must be mindful that we are a resale business of personal body care items and we carry only 1 of each set or item. You are here seeking something that is in short supply or one of a kind so you absolutely want it otherwise you would go straight to the manufacturers website. We do not claim ownership or connection to any of these brands beyond providing a service to resale them usually at a lower cost to the buyer.
Those who get buyers remorse please be advised. Please read carefully:

All Sales Are final.

All items are shown as is and come in the original packaging plus seller placed tamper labels for items that come with no seal directly from the manufacturer. All items are labeled “New” unless otherwise stated in the listing under “Category”.

Lost or Damaged in Transit

Shipping labels are purchased through the USPS portals to ensure the package is covered up to the purchase amount minus shipping and any applicable taxes.

In the instance that the package is lost or damaged in transit, the package is insured up to the cost of purchase minus taxes and shipping by the United States Postal Service. Refunds for shipping and taxes will be handled by the seller. Please open a lost package claim with the United States Postal Service but please don’t hesitate to reach out as we have successfully recovered some packages for customers that were scanned as delivered or being returned to sender due to incorrect address but you must be quick because it is typically not in the sellers hands once we no longer have access to the package.

Items scanned as delivered relieve the seller of any responsibility/duty of the package IF buyer fails to retrieve it once delivered in a timely manner or package is mishandled, lost or damaged in transit. Our items are packaged with protective wrapping and insulation. We are a resale service thus items cannot be replaced if lost or damaged due to negligence of carrier (delivered to wrong address) or customer. We DO not replace lost or stolen property no longer in our possession.

All items are tracked to their final destination and items lost or damaged in transit must be reported to the United States Postal Service to open an insurance claim and it must be recorded and documented as to who the claim will be awarded to (this only applies if you open a dispute with the seller directly). Claims are typically opened by the receiver of the package as the United States Postal Service accepts liability once package is scanned and in their possession.

YOU are responsible for entering the correct address and checking it prior to completing your purchase. The address CAN BE changed by the seller IF The customer reaches out within 24 hours as handling time is 1 Business day.
Seller will NOT be liable for customer entering the incorrect address. Seller will only ship items to the address requested at time of checkout unless other arrangements are requested via email at support@shaysmiles.com and the buyer must verify the purchase and any necessary information before any updates can happen.

Disputes

Any Disputes about charges or merchandise can be made by reaching out to Shay at support@shaysmiles.com.

Any CONDITIONAL returns due to disputes must be made withing 14 days and must be accepted prior to the refund being processed. A conditional return is a return accepted by the seller within 14 days of receipt as a courtesy. The merchandise must be returned at the buyers expense, and a restocking fee of $7 is deducted from the final price of refund.
Shipping of the original purchase will NOT be refunded as all sales are final.

A restock fee of $12 is also subtracted from final refund IF return is accepted. All returns are at sellers discretion. Please be advised. Images will be required before being advised to return to seller. If seals are broken (including on body mists sold as “new”) the sale is FINAL. Seller cannot restock those items.

All items are inspected prior to shipping for any damage or other reason it should not be shipped. If item is not able to be shipped, customer will be contacted and a refund will be given. The order will be canceled. All items are depicted as is. All items are 100% authentic with receipts of purchase. Ingredients list can be found on the manufacturers website as we DO NOT manufacture these products and buyers are already familiar with the brand or products.

Order Cancellations

Orders may not be cancelled once items have been shipped.

Apparel

We do sell some apparel. If you have any questions about the sizing, material or the brand please do not hesitate to send me a quick message at support@shaysmiles.com for purchases made on Shaysmiles.com or via eBay messaging system for all purchases made from eBay.com before you complete your purchase. I would be more than happy to let you know if the item is a good fit.
