Aries – The Zodiac Collection by Bath and Body Works

Aries, bold, confident but warm. This signature scent from The Zodiac Collection doesn’t disappoint if you like warm, boozy vanilla such as this top note of Vanilla Bourbon. It reminds me of a jazzed up Cozy Bourbon Vanilla which was a good and basic, boozy vanilla scent. I am honestly not a fan of the rich musk base note as an ending especially as you get a whiff of the first two notes. For me it’s too many bottom notes that just blend together in confusion where nothing stands out in my opinion.

The dry down isn’t very impressive either at first and it takes a minute to settle in but it does get nice and cozy. If you ask me and the only way it could be saved as a scent is if you made it just for men. I absolutely love the intentions behind it. The dry down is a bit sexy but again I think it is rather geared towards a vanilla body spray for men. It would indeed be sexy on a HIM.

Some are saying it reminded them of Bonfire Bash by Bath and Body Works but if I am going to be honest, that scent never appealed to me so I never bought it. That isn’t to say that this doesn’t smell good as it could smell good to somebody it just wasn’t me. Now, all bias aside, it is not as bold or confident as it could be and it is kind of quiet and confident.

The Vanilla Bourbon and the Sandalwood and the musk just all smell so similar to me. I’m not going to knock it I would just give it to a man.
