Fresh Musk Fragrance Mist

Oddly enough some called Fresh Musk by Bath & Body Works is masculine and to be honest on the dry down I can see their point of view. But I don’t think it’s so masculine that you would call it manly. Maybe unisex for a more flamboyant male but definitely not a scent for the manly man so have your little grain of salt with that but I thought I would add it in.
To me, Fresh Musk is an amazing scent. It is strong enough and lasts longer than a lot of their other scents in the cap. I am impressed by how it does not smell like alcohol during the first sniff. I don’t necessarily spray them all on me but if they perform well in the cap they perform well on the clothes and body considering all things (like the fact it is a body mist and not meant to last more than 4 hours without reapplication).

It reminds me a bit of Easter and is a very beautiful scent. It really is fresh and new and undeniably rich. It smells like a brand new dress, some clean tights and a crisp new press with a little spritz because you’re not quite old enough to be wearing mommy’s fragrances if I remember just right. I admit it does give me church lady vibes. It’s a scent you expect in a professional setting that still smells incredible but is not too sexy.

On the other side of the coin, you might want to wear this when you are feeling really feminine but also in control because the scent is soft in thought but in reality it is powerful and strong. I love the rich dry down because it loses that initial spritz of femininity that you smell when you first spray it and I gather that’s why a few say it’s masculine.

It’s really not however it’s just not as soft as they may have imagined so that could be misleading. It is a loud scent. Loud doesn’t mean bad but it is not subtle so skip it if you want that. It doesn’t give flirty it gives bold and confident.

It does have soft vibes because it is very floral so that might be the confusion. It is the perfect floral and musk scent for a nice, floral and fresh, clean smell. I think it has the potential to be romantic but in a very demure and respectable way. It’s not sexy, I will repeat but it smells really good. Definitely best for the conservative woman, professional woman, or an older woman to be fair.
