Sauvage Eau de Toilette by Dior
Sauvage is serious business with a very fresh, citrusy top and heavy marine woody bottom notes. This scent smells very good and is for the more serious older gentlemen who doesn’t intend to be misunderstood. This guy means business and won’t back down because let’s be honest, he won’t have to. He knows he is powerful and elegant and she will want to be around him.
I had mixed reactions about this scent because it is intense. This eye opener was introduced to us back in September of 2015. My senses are jolted when I smell this and the scent lingers and follows you around the room. Good thing it smells great because that would be such an issue being followed by something so offensive so if you don’t like STRONG scents stay away. I do not recommend this for younger men under the age of 40 because it will come off as inauthentic and that you are trying too hard.
Sauvage cologne for men scent is not for the faint at heart because there is little faint about it even though the woodiness brings a bit of softness, don’t try wearing this in the office. It stands out. This is a winter scent to me because it is so strong but on a real, dry and cool end of summer night it will hit just right and make you a magnet to the women ovulating.
It is instantly recognizable as its description says … and you won’t forget it; ever. It will be etched into your memory even if you don’t know what it is or want it that way. I knew exactly who I had first smelled this on and when and I can’t help but to giggle because I definitely remember him.
This scent screams I am confident, I know who I am but I want to know who you are as well. I have to admit it is not too sensual because of how strong and pungent it is. I use the word pungent lovingly here. This scent lingers and holds on to you and surrounds you with its personal experience.
I know many say it is overhyped but don’t let a bad memory by the last person that wore it shape your opinion of it. This scent is still a good time. It is solid and reliable.

And on that Note
The freshness of juicy Calabrian bergamot and spicy Sichuan pepper open up your senses with acute accuracy. The ambery marine wood as the bottom note dries down so comfortably. Top notes are Calabrian bergamot and Pepper; middle notes are Sichuan Pepper, Lavender, Pink Pepper, Vetiver, Patchouli, Geranium and elemi; base notes are Ambroxan, Cedar and Labdanum.
This super fresh and exciting scent will turn heads and open noses. It is very refined even though it gives adventurous and a daring spirit. I guess this is one you’d have to watch close. Everything does blend perfectly because you can actually smell it all even on the dry down, every note is still in the air.
The pepper is very noticeable also but it smells very good and made me lean in again to see what it was that was so dry and spicy, I liked it. It’s definitely giving “rich”.
